Wingnut IQT Progress

Post by Zeus » Thu Apr 25, 2019 10:41 pm

Cadet/IP: Wingnut / Zeus w/ Stalker
Check Ride #: IQT-1
Check Ride Date: 24 Apr 2019
Score: Pass
Debrief: Please join me in welcoming Wingnut, one of our newest cadets to the IQT program and the first to start the program on 4.34! Wingnut and I actually had a partial IQT-1 flight the night before and tested a lot of the draft SOP changes - changes I talked him through on the fly with no documentation and he hung with it! This flight we had Stalker accompany us for some 4.34 stick time as well and Wingnut did a great job not only with all the SOP comm stuff but also with the tac turns. Still need some work on the tanker but getting very smooth so not at all worried.

Thanks guys!
And thanks to Stalker for preparing me. Would have been harder without his help.

The wife is confused as I'm walking around with a smile on my face these days. Just having a lot of fun. Never flown MP before.

Don’t smile TOO much or she might take the sim away...😲

Cadet/IP: Wingnut / Zeus
Check Ride #: IQT-2
Check Ride Date: 4 May 2019
Score: Pass
Debrief: Today was BVR day for Wingnut and he did a great job. He took TWS shots on both easy bombers as well as a pair of mean -29s that were bracketing him. He even managed to connect with the tanker! All in all a really nice flight - keep it up Wingnut!

Ready to go flying...
