3-ship of CM-52's, out of Kunsan, Loadout was 2x-120B, 4x-65D on single racks, HTS/Sniper, Centerline Tank
Mission was to go up and take out the frog launchers in two surface to surface missile battalions, about 40 miles north of the DMZ.
Results: Despite the leadership handicap of having Buttons lead the flight the mission was successful. We had a good mission plan, and Stac and Birddog executed it well. Overall there was good coordination, marks point passing was frequent and quite helpful, fuel management was good and the landing was pretty nice to watch. We got all the frogs, and a popped a couple command BMS's and AAA for good measure.
Lessons Learned: So we had nice slick jets, by nature of us use 4xLAU-117 racks instead of 2xLAU-88's, that had some unfortunate knock-on effects for bore-sighting. Also I forgot to have a plan for bore-sighting (totally my fault) so the flight was taken off guard when I smugly announced 1 was bore-sight complete at the nuke plant north of Kunsan. So that would be some definite take aways should we run this again.
