Over the last few months, discussions have been made about putting together a promo video for the 440th VFW to show other BMS fans how great things are over here. Basically in a nut shell, we want to show off the wing.
After multiple discussion with the CO's this is the message we want to put out there.
- spot on brevity
- close formations
- pinpoint weapon delivery
- Special Weapon delivery skills(ex: low level lofting)
- Takeoffs, rejoins, tac turns etc.
(basically everything we learned in IQT and the advanced training curriculum)
On March 23, Buttons and myself got some footage to get us off to a bit of a start.
The flight overall only lasted about 45 minutes and we got some great video, but we need a ton more.
Over the next few weeks I will be posting some more flights on the ATO during the weeknights to try and script some of the action I am looking for so please keep an eye out, basically all we need is at least two pilots to get some video.
I hope everyone can try and make it to these but I understand that weeknights can make this a bit tough sometimes. Just wanted to make this post so everyone would understand.
P.S. - Mrs. Birddog will be putting the video together for us(video editing is what she does for a living) so once it is completed I would like to get as many of us together on TS to tell her thank you.
