Debrief: Please help me welcome “Bull” to IQT. We’ve completed the objectives for IQT-1 last night after a couple previous flights working through technical issues, configuration settings, and multi-player operations. With limited experience in BMS and flight sims in general the learning curve will be steep, but Bull's interest and ability so far look good as we’re well on the way into IQT. With his setup working smooth and ‘the chicken removed from under the porch’, we had a smooth flight last night as we continued work on holding formation positions, tac turns, and even got in few mock BVR engagements on some hostile ‘drones’ (An-72’s). The tanker was a challenge to catch as he circled around at Angels 30, but eventually he settled into the track and Bull showed that he was able to get connected in short time. We ready to move on and learn about BVR now in IQT-2, and I’m looking forward to our next flight.
Nice job Bull! Working on 'Route' formation On the boom for a short splash of fuel Tac turn practice - hook turns, cross turns, shackle and delayed 90's Moving into echelon for the overhead break into Kunsan - IQT 1 complete!

Nice work, Bull! Welcome to IQT!
Re: Bull IQT Progress
Looking good, nice job Bull!
I was in a similar situation, little-to-no experience with flight sims and no MP experience to speak of but the IQT program will definitely get you airborne! Good luck in the following flights, see you in the air soon!
Also, Derk: ‘the chicken removed from under the porch’? I'm not familiar with this idiom, what's it mean?

Nice job Bull... Keep it going!

Re: Bull IQT Progress
Thank you all for your awesome support. I really appreciate it. The Chechen under the porch refers to second flight that had to be cut short, because an actual chicken had some how gotten trapped under the house. Creating so much racket, it sounds like someone getting murdered LOL. I know what are the odds. But Murphy likes me, what can I say.
LOL

Debrief: Bull has been hard at work with BMS and completed the objectives for IQT-2 in our recent flight. The initial flight went fairly well, taking out the two Tu-16 bombers and a MiG-23. We had issues with the Mig-29's that never came in close enough to tangle before a fuel issues caused an early RTB. After a few days’ practice working on MAR, we flew a second flight with just MiG-29's to give Bull a good work-out in BVR engagements.
We were joined by Blade and Zeus who helped us spot hostiles incoming and clean up our leakers. All of the engagements were well coordinated with Bull getting good hits safely outside of MAR and keeping up with the flight lead in the flurry of tac turns and engagement calls. After we cleared the three groups of MiG's and low on fuel we grabbed some gas at the constantly turning tanker allowing Bull to show that he can AAR in a turn. After that we ran two against two for the missile evasion tactics practice, then finished up with a short run back into Kunsan for a safe recovery.
Nice job with BVR Bull! Now on to dogfighting!
TWS Shot at the two bombers MiG-29 engagement - nice coordinates shots Missile Evasion training - nice chance to get to shoot at your CO on purpose! Bull on the boom in a turn - nice! Moving into route formation for the run back to Kunsan - IQT-2 Complete!
